OPTIONS LABORATORY STUDENTS TRAVELED TO GERMANY

Miguel DeBerry, Raymond Roundtree, Demarjio Irving, Anthony Parker, and N’Kosi Barber participated in a program through Passport Carriers that afforded them the opportunity to travel to Germany in August. Thanks to Passport Carriers, Little Black Pearl and Options Laboratory School supporters for affording our students this opportunity.

White Sox-Negro League Metra Mural Project

OLS Students Raymond Roundtree (far left), Aleeyah Capleton (far right), and Victor Harris (not pictured) were among students selected to assist with the painting of the White Sox-Negro League Metra Mural Project located at the Lovana S. “Lou” Jones/35^th Street Metra Station. The mural pays tribute to the impact of African-Americans on baseball on Chicago’s Southside.
